The National Museum of Modern Art, MOMAK, presents the Exhibition: "Art Deco Jewlery" till April 15, 2007

The style of design and decoration known as Art Deco gained momentum in the 1920's and '30s, and was popularized in a variety of art fields: architecture, film, fashion, painting and jewlery. Focusing on Charles Jacqueau, one of the designers for the house of Cartier, the exhibition brings together 300 items: designs by Jacqueau, pieces of jewlery based on his designs, and additional pieces y such contemporaries as Lalique and Boucheron.
