I would like to inform you about my weekend break to this spectacular castle - Hattonchatel Chateau - in Lorraine in the north of France. The views from the castle were fantastic, you could seethe lake, lac de Medine, miles away - the valley and several small towns.

The rooms and the bridalsuite were very nice and elegant furnished - without loosing the authentic atmosphere.

But the best of all was the knightshall called "laSalle de Burgraves" with an open fireplace at the end of the hall. Ahall like this is very rare, and people are coming from everywhere just to have a look atit.

An american lady Belle Skinner restored the chateau after the 1. world war.

If you are planning a wedding abroad, group holiday or a conference - and want something special,

then this castle is the place to go.
