After browsing the short list of villa offerings on LL, we decided on Casa Tres Vidas in Puerto Vallarta. When we were able to secure award business class seats for the desired dates within 5 minutes, we knew we had made the right call.
Margaret, the person in charge of pre planning certain details of the villa stay, was prompt and very thorough in responding to every question that I had!

This remains one of the great historic cities in Peru. A place for exploring - plazas, cobbled stone streets, restaurants and pubs, busy markets, ongoing preservation projects and a perfect base for venturing out in search of ancient Inca ruins.

Uncharacteristic of LAN, our 1:00am departure from Miami International aboard #2511 was delayed and then delayed again.
Of course, the complementary Haagen-Das dulce de leche ice cream in the VIP Lounge was an unexpected treat and helped pacify the situation. However the prospects of making our onward connection in Lima to Cuzco seemed greatly diminished at 3:25am, as the B767 climbed through 30,000 feet toward cruising altitude.

Just returned from Chile and Uruguay. What a trip! This was our first time driving in South America. We never realized how important (or unimportant) a map could be.
Our flights were wonderful from BWI via Miami to Santiago. Our first car was in Santiago. We then drove two hours to Casa Marin winery's only villa, Villa Miramar. WOW!!!
