While Waimea Canyon is worth a drive, I wouldn't spend my only day on Kauai exploring it. If you opt for a driving tour you eventually get to Kalalau Lookout Kalalau Lookout , which will give you an idea of the Napali Coast and what you would have seen, had you taken the boat tour.
When the opportunity popped up to use some frequent flier miles and secure business class seats on TAP Portugal Airlines, we jumped into action. Never having flown with TAP, we did some quick research for on-line reviews of their service. Not surprising, reviews were all over the place from 'really bad' to 'excellent.'
