Little Arches Hotel, an adults-only 10 room boutique hotel and spa located "on a south coast hideaway bay...adjacent to the flawless white sands of Enterprise Beach" on the Caribbean isle of Barbados in Christ Church, has stolen a piece of my heart. It's a good thing I have a lot to give.

We did a day trip to San Juan del Sur from the Aqua Wellness Resort & it was about a 1 hour drive. We were actually not too impressed with the town – the beach was dirty and the ocean/bay looked oily – there are many boats in the bay and this could be the reason. The last time we visited Granada, Nicaragua was 10 years ago on a day trip from Costa Rica & there were very few tourists – mostly of the backpacker variety, few restaurants and few shops. In the past 10 years there have been many changes! There are now vendors in the central park, new hotels & restaurants & colonial homes being renovated. Granada is becoming a vibrant city and I predict in another 10 years (or less), it well be as visited as Antigua, Guatemala & Cuzco, Peru.
WOW....What a trip of a lifetime. We flew to Guayaquil Ecuador and stayed two nights at the Hotel Oro Verde ( a Leading Hotel of the World.) I prepaid and received an amazing low price for a junior suite. WOW Again....Huge SUITE in the new wing. We enjoyed our visit in the city and loved walking Malecon 2000 and visiting Cerro Santa Anna. There was so much written about safety yet we never experienced any type of scary situation. We even went to a neighborhood fruit/empanada local hang out
