Virgin Gorda........it keeps getting better!!!

Our 9th stay in Virgin Gorda and it really keeps getting better. We had concern about weather in the region but no hurricanes developed....yeah!
The main reason for loving the area at this time of the year is the peace and quiet. There is practically nothing open, no tourists, no nothing! The beaches are vacant! We love snorkeling at Mahoe Bay and having the place to ourselves. The underwater marine life was simply smashing this trip. The sky was so blue and the ocean so calm which helped visability. We swam with sea turtles, squid (creepy but cute!), parrot fish, snapper, blue tang, barracuda, and various other varieties. We enjoyed Spring Bay and Nail Bay.
We found a few local places and people able to make us roti. Met a great guy who delivers roti via the main road!!! We call in an order and then he tells us the designated time and place for delivery. We also tried another local place, Dixies. Their roti is made on Thursdays.
We did enjoy the yacht harbour and The Rendevous down there. Mine Shaft was also a nice dining option. Leverick Bay (Nick and Monica) was another great experience. A few cats came in with some fun groups! Everyone enjoying drinking and chatting! So nice at this time of the year. Of course, we were able to play tennis every morning. I just absolutely love this area.
I do see LL has added Oil Nut Bay. (very nice looking but never visited.) We like the Biras Creek and Bitter End Yacht Club properties though both were closed on this visit. Oh, and a super duper brilliant kudos to Southwest for flying on time both ways, no charge for luggage, and an overall pleasant experience. As always, Air Sunshine to Virgin Gorda is always fun, fun, fun!!! Well....I will need to wait another year to visit again.....hope you are able to experience my magic if you visit this island!
